Location Verifier
About Location Verifier
Who It Is For
A free, privacy-respecting tool that lets remote teams confirm where people are working, for compliance and payroll.
Remote companies that need to confirm which country an employee or contractor is working from, for tax, payroll, or compliance.
Features
- Free, with no account needed
- The other person sees exactly what is shared and consents first
- You receive a country, never precise coordinates
- A network check flags likely VPN or proxy use
- Requests expire after 24 hours and create no location history
How It Works
- You create a request and send the link to the person you need to verify.
- They open the link and choose whether to share. Saying no sends nothing.
- If they agree, their browser shares its location once, and the server reduces it to a country.
- You see the country and the network check on your page as soon as it arrives.
